Join Us in Worship

You may have done church all your life. This may be your first visit in a long time (or ever!). That's ok. We hope you will find Hope Church an encouraging place to worship, build friendships, and seek to make a difference in our world through service.

Our Sanctuary Service
Sundays at 10:00 am

Our 10:00 am Sunday service, which usually lasts 60 to 65 minutes, is traditional worship for a contemporary world—familiar, friendly, reverent without being too formal. We love music so our gatherings often feature our Chancel Choir, Chancel Bell Choir, Red Sea, and special guest musicians. Join us in person, or worship with us anytime through our livestreams and recordings on YouTube.

Shiloh Prayer Room
Most Sundays at 12:00 noon in Friendship Hall

Worship through another lens and tradition. In 2024, Hope was overjoyed to welcome the Mbokas -- a family from Kenya who led Methodist Churches there. They gather each week for a lively and inspirational African-style worship service in our downstairs Friendship Hall. All are welcome!

What to Expect

Here are some answers to common questions.

Absolutely! You’ll see everything from casual wear to Sunday best. The important thing is that you feel comfortable—there’s no need to impress anyone. Dress up or dress down, just come as you are.

We have several parking spots up front reserved for visitors and in the front row for those needing handicapped-accessible parking. Otherwise, parking is easy at Hope. We have one big lot with two entrances off of Dayton Street.

We have a fully-staffed Nursery every Sunday morning for children up to age 3. Our nursery is located downstairs in L13.

Kids of all ages are welcome in worship—we love their wiggles and giggles! They’re welcome to stay with you the whole service, or head to Children’s Sunday School (ages 3–5th grade) after the Children’s Message. Pick-up is in Friendship Hall downstairs after worship.

Nope. We don't invite you to Hope for your offering. We want our service to be a gift to you. We hope you will find a family of friends and a place where you can grow in God's grace here. Please don't feel obligated to participate in the offering as a guest.

Holy Communion, one of our two sacraments, is celebrated the first Sunday of every month. And it's for everyone! (Seriously. We believe God's grace is offered to all, so communion is open to all, our littles included.)

Starting Point
for those curious about connecting deeper at Hope

Every fourth Sunday after worship, the pastors gather in the library for a special time just for folks new to Hope.

  • We talk about what it means to be a United Methodist and a part of Hope Church.
  • We share about the opportunities to worship, grow, and serve.
  • We listen and respond to any questions you may have about Hope Church.
  • Mostly, we just want to get to know each other so we can be friends.
